Last Day of 2022 Summer Camp Recap

How was last Friday our final day of our 2022 Summer Camp?!

To start the day, we held our annual Bike/Walk-a-thon with the support of Bike Walk Vista and Dr. Bronner's. Our Club members biked or walked the track around our baseball field going through sprinklers and getting their wristbands tallied by our Middle School Club members and the Celtic/Bonsall Pageants girls. Once the biking and walking were done it was time for the foam party from Dr. Bronner's, Mr. Matt even joined in the fun!! To end the event, Bike Walk Vista had a huge raffle for our Club members and a trophy ceremony for the top bikers.

To end the last day of summer, we held our annual Backpack Giveaway with the support of North Coast Church, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego, Catarina's Club, the Vista Community Clinic, and North County Lifeline. We received over 180 backpacks from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego (50) and North Coast Church (134), Catarina’s Club donated 53 family-sized pasta meals, and lastly, we were joined by the Vista Community Clinic and North County Lifeline to share goodies and resources with our Club families.
