Matt received his B.A. in English Literature from University of California Santa Cruz and Master's in Education from National University with an emphasis in cross-cultural teaching.

A former high school educator, Matt joined the Boys & Girls Club of Vista in 2007. Matt is passionate about providing impactful programs so all kids can get their needs met.  He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Vista, and currently serves on the Sunrise Vista Kiwanis Board. He is a member of AHEPA 505.

Under Matt’s leadership, the Boys & Girls Club of Vista has grown from two sites to five sites and leads a Board and staff that regularly garners County, State and National recognition for exceptional performance.  Matt lives in Vista with his wife, Denise and two daughters, Grace and Aether.
